In God We Trust

When we say we are trusting God are really doing it or are we just saying it to sound good and holy? I think many times we are just saying it cause it sounds good and makes us feel better about ourselves. But really trusting in God is casting all your cares on Him cause you know that He can handle it. He is our strength when we feel weak, He is our provision when we need to be provided for. Trust, rely, lay back in Him because God loves you and cares about you and wants to see you succeed in all that you do.

Hope

Sorry I haven't written in a few days was on vacation, but hey I am back now and we will keep rollin. What do you do when your back is up against the wall and it seems like there is no way out? You fight to get off the wall right, you don't give up. Why is that, because things are subject to change. One slip up of your opponent can be your single swing to victory. As you continue to fight hold on to that hope that started you in this fight in first place. It is that hope that is your blue print to the victory in your battle. If hope leaves than there is no reason to continue fighting. At the end of this book that I read often, it says that we win, we overcome by the blood of the lamb and the word of our testimony. Don't worry you will come through better than before.

Numb

This is a great video and song about how life is sometimes. At certain points in our life we become numb, numb to God, our friends, family. We get to a point where things that we should be against we are just like, whatever. Like for me I hate when people scrape their forks across their teeth when they are eating. I know it is petty, but it is just disturbing for me. But lately I just don't even care, you can do it all you want.

That is how many of us have gotten about sin, we do it so much and it is accepted so easily in society that people don't care. Morals and values in this world are changing, we are beginning to live in a world where anything goes and there is no one speaking up. Have you let your morals slip lately? If so pick up that book we call a BIBLE and read it and it will show you what your values should be and make the change and speak out against sin and things that are against nature. Don't become numb.

Who do you live for, is it your girl, your man? Is it your friends? I remember there was a time when all I could do was eat, sleep and drink my girl. All I could do is think about her, I couldn't wait to see her and be with her. When I was with her I couldn't think about anybody else, all I could think about was her. Her presence made me comfortable and care free.

That is how we need to be for God, living for Him. Anticipating waking up to see Him and hear from Him. Worshiping God is what our desires should be, but sometimes we don't make it a priority like we do for our girls or men. Sometimes you just don't feel like praising and worshiping the creator. I feel you on that young people, cause I am the same way. I don't ever feel like waking up worshiping my Father, but I know the benefits and I know I was created to do it and that is what makes me do it. Just like in the winter and spring you all work out really hard to get your bodies tight. Why? So you can wear that bikini or so you can walk around shirtless. It has its benefits right, more numbers, more looks from the opposite sex.

Proverbs 22:4
By humility and the fear of the LORD Are riches and honor and life.

Fear of the Lord is translated as a worshipful understanding and posture. So worshiping God brings riches and honor and life to the fullest extent. I think we all could use some riches and some honor and definitely life so we can enjoy our riches and honor. So I challenge you today to wake up and give God a few minutes of your time and tell him how much you love Him. Your day will be so much better trust.

FireProof

Is your Faith in God Fireproof? So many times we pray for things or believe God for things, but there is a waiting period. And during this waiting period many times things come up to detour us from what it is we are believing for. That is simply the devil trying to get you off track and steal from you the dreams that you have. I would encourage you to worship while you wait for that answered prayer, serve in someway during that waiting period. Hold on to that belief it will manifest at the right time. God is faithful to His word, you be faithful to what it is you are believing to receive. On Monday Tanya and I will be starting a 40 day Faith Dare. Huh? You might ask, we will explain it in the days to come but we feel like we cant challenge you or share it fully with you until we complete it and see the manifestation for us. We have to be our best customer. Love you guys, we'll talk tomorrow.

The Click

Hey everyone no videos or music on this blog. I want to share something that just was placed on my heart. Has anyone out there every been in a click? Like your people had handshakes, certain colors you wore, each person had a nickname. I have been in one called T.H.W.(pronounced T.H.Dubb) The Hard Way. We consider ourselves baby 40's which is a local gang in L.A. My nickname was and don't laugh Gamie Amey, I knew how to run game on teachers and administrators as school. We were a huge click originating from Hamilton High School and spreading to other High Schools in the area. We consider ourselves family and anything ever happened we had each other backs. We all hung together and knew each others habits and knew how to get under each others skin. Looking back at that I saw how childish it was and stupid. But there is something in that that we are missing in our lives as Christians.

We are each others click, the Christian family. We are suppose to take care of each other, pick each other when we are down. But there is far to much backbiting in the church where people are really turned off from going to church. The purpose of church is to bring others in to learn about Christ and develop their walk as Christians. Do you care for your brothers and sisters in the church? Do you care about others who are around you or is it about yourself? I encourage you to treat the entire church as a click, band together and care for one another. Life is too short to destroy friendships over nothing. Just think about it.
